Want To Move To Kansas

So my husband gets out of the military and we now live in Maine. I told him over and over again that I didnt want to move back to Maine due to lack of jobs, and I had lived in Maine my whole life until we went to VA. Yes my family is here, but living in Maine really doesnt make me happy. I love my family with all my heart but I was just not ready to move back here. He finally got a job at the local saw mill and I havent gotten jack. Nobody calls me for interviews or they say they found someone better qualified. I get sick of hearing that crap.

I have been searching places to work out in KS and they have a whole bunch. We both have decided that we would like to move there but we cant afford to move. Life is so hard right now with the economy and how we earned so much more when he was in the military. We could afford all the bills and have some left over. Now its just not pretty. I know that we do move out there we will both have jobs. We have a place to live but we just havent figured out how we would get out there yet.

So what do you do when you live in Maine but your heart and head are saying you want to be in Kansas. I guess you find a way to get out there.

Blue Angels

Me, my husband and parents went to watch the Blue Angels yesterday. They said it will be the last air show in Maine because Brunswick Naval Air Station will be closing. I really hope that they can come back someday with civilians running it.

It was a great show as usual, I love watching them. In my book they are the best demo team and have the best pilots. First it rained the whole way down there and for a little bit when we got there. It finally cleared off and the sun came out. Well idiot me didnt put on any sun tan lotion and I got burnt to a crisp. I look like a lobster. But at least I got to see the Blue Angels is what I keep telling myself.

Today I feel it, I am all swollen. My face got the most of it and my lips, are so fat right now. I am in pretty rough shape. But this to shall pass. In all it was an amazing day filled with some amazing flying. So thanks to all the performers for coming to Maine.
